ICB's Annual December Winter Open Studios 201

On the first weekend in December "2nd 3rd and 4th", the Industrial Center Building Community of Artists welcome visitors to experience the annual Artists Open Studios Event, which has been a Sausalito tradition for 40 + years.

Sausalito is well known to be an "Art Mecca" in the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California. This is an opportunity to meet the artists in their studios and to view their works of art. More than 80 artists studios will be open to the public for these two days.

This event affords the visitors no better place to find exceptional art works i.e. Sculptures, Paintings, Prints, Fabric Artists, Photography, Unique crafts and Special Gifts, while also enjoying the savings that are offered when you buy directly from the artists.

The ICB Location is nestled close to the San Francisco Bay, toward the North end of Sausalito, (see map) this landmark historic building is steeped in the area's ship building roots, and rekindled by the creative juices of a vibrant community of artists. Plan on spending the day in Sausalito visiting the picturesque, Mediterranean ambiance and its waterfront venues and stunning views.
The view from Sausalito to San Francisco is one of most popular viewing vistas and photographed points of interest in Northern California. Your days end will be well served by enjoying the areas fine cuisine.

The 2011 AWD Holiday Open Studios event takes place on December 10 + 11, 11am to 5pm Click HERE for more info San Anselmo Winter Open Studios - 2011 San Anselmo Artists Winter Open Studios 2011 The San Anselmo Art Studios were established twenty-five year ago at the old Isabel Cook Elementary School. The building was constructed in 1927 as the Red Hill School, then re-named in 1949 for a beloved principal. The school closed in 1975. A wide range of mediums- oil, watercolor, pastel, printmaking,  photography, mixed media and sculpture- are represented as well as a wide range of subject matter and styles. Novato Monthly  Open Studios Novato Arts Center Organization The Artists of the Novato Arts Center present First Sunday Open Studios [first Sunday of every month ,when resident artists welcome visitors into their studios, from 11am to 4pm.
